The Children's Reading Festival

Delta Education and Life Development Foundation, Inc. Each year, both organizations partner to host a Children's Reading Festival for the youth of our community. The purpose of the Festival is to encourage reading with family involvement and participation. It is a free event filled with book readings by local authors, storytelling, speakers and parent workshops. After the sessions, the attendees select free books and are treated to a free outdoor festival complete with a variety of activities and refreshments.

The hours of the Festival are 11am-3pm. The Children's Reading Festival is held within 3 buildings of Osswald Park in Fort Lauderdale: the Delta Education & Life Development Center ("Delta House"), the Tyrone Bryant Library Branch and the Recreation Center.
